Provision of Food Crops Statistical Survey 2024

On Wednesday - Thursday (20-21/11), BPS Wonogiri Regency conducted a Briefing for the 2024 Food Crop Statistics Survey at RM Alami Sayang. Activities in Production Statistics include KSA surveys, tiling, and other production statistics surveys.

The Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA) is an area-based survey conducted by directly observing segment samples and aims to estimate the area by extrapolating from the sample to the population in a relatively short period (rapid estimate).

The tiling data collection aims to obtain information on the productivity (yield per hectare) of food crop commodities, namely rice and secondary crops. This food crop productivity data is very important because it is one of the components for calculating food crop production figures in one area. Timely and accurate agricultural data on food crop production so that national development goals as well as sustainable development goals (Zero Hunger), namely the realization of food security and sovereignty, can be achieved.
