On March 5, 2025, BPS Wonogiri Regency released 2 Official Statistical News (BRS), namely the Consumer Price Index or Inflation and Economic Growth. The Official Statistical News Release (BRS) of Wonogiri Regency for March 2025 was delivered by the Head of BPS Wonogiri Regency, Rahmad Iswanto, which was attended by departments or agencies online via Zoom Meeting.

In February 2025, there was a year-on-year (y-on-y) deflation in Wonogiri Regency of 0.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.12.

Wonogiri's economy in 2024 grew by 4.93 percent. Economic activity reached 39.76 trillion rupiah according to current prices.

Agriculture is still the dominant business sector in the economy with a total contribution of 27.19 percent.
