Electricity Tariffs Are Now the Commodity with the Largest Contribution

One of the data released by the BPS of Wonogiri Regency is the development of the Consumer Price Index (CPI). In March 2025, Wonogiri experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 1.42% with electricity tariff commodities being the largest contributor to inflation. This is because there is no longer a 50% electricity tariff discount.

Meanwhile, year-on-year (y-on-y), Wonogiri Regency also experienced inflation of 0.24% (percentage change in March 2025 CPI to March 2024 CPI) with March 2025 CPI of 107.23.
