Wonogiri, May 5, 2025 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Wonogiri Regency released two Official Statistical News (BRS) today, Monday (5/5), which include Consumer Price Index (CPI) data or inflation for April 2025 and Tourism Statistics for March 2025.

The Head of BPS Wonogiri Regency, Rahmad Iswanto, said that in April 2025 there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1.24 percent. This figure shows a general increase in prices compared to the same month the previous year. Meanwhile, the month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate or compared to the previous month, was recorded at 1.50 percent.

In addition to inflation, BPS also published tourism statistics data for March 2025. One of the main indicators presented was the Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Wonogiri Regency, which in March was recorded at 14.52 percent. This figure has decreased compared to February 2025 which was 19.06 percent.

"This data is important to provide an overview of regional economic conditions, both in terms of consumer prices and the tourism sector," said Rahmad Iswanto.

With this release, BPS hopes that the public and stakeholders can use the data as a basis for decision-making, planning, and evaluation of regional development policies.
