Abstract

September 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Wonogiri Regency was 1.78 percent

In September 2024, there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Wonogiri Regency of 1.78 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.38.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 2.51 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.68 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.39 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.97 percent; health group by 2.66 percent; transportation group by 0.61 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.64 percent; education group by 2.32 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.41 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.34 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were: and the information, communication, and financial services group fell by 1.61 percent.
