Wonogiri Regency Annual Fruit and Vegetable Production 2023/2024

The horticulture sub-sector has an important and strategic role in national development, especially in efforts to diversify food and improve community nutrition. The demand for data in the horticulture sub-sector is the basis for determining planning and evaluation related to policy programs. Therefore, the compilation of the publication of the Annual Fruit and Vegetable Production of Wonogiri Regency in 2023/2024 aims to present data and information on horticultural commodities including harvest area, number of plants and production. The data for this publication is sourced from the Horticulture Agricultural Statistics Report (SPH) organized by the Central Statistics Agency in collaboration with the Directorate General of Horticulture, Ministry of Agriculture. Based on the data from this publication, the development of horticultural crop production in Wonogiri Regency fluctuates every year due to various factors. In 2023, 66.4 percent of fruit and vegetable production in Wonogiri Regency was dominated by bananas, mangoes, rambutans, petai and papaya. Bananas are a leading commodity in Wonogiri Regency, although the number has decreased from the previous year.
