#Sobatdata, National Teachers' Day is celebrated on November 25th according to Presidential Decree Number 8 of 1994. The commemoration coincides with the establishment of the Republic of Indonesia Teachers Association (PGRI), a professional organization whose members consist of teachers and education personnel in Indonesia.
The theme of National Teachers' Day 2024 is "Great Teachers, Strong Indonesia". This theme was taken as a form of support and appreciation for the spirit of learning, sharing, and collaborating from great Indonesian teachers who have educated and accompanied Indonesian children to grow and develop.
In the 2023/2024 academic year, the number of teachers in Wonogiri Regency for each level is 5,907 elementary/MI teachers, 2,586 junior high/MTs teachers, and 2,124 high school/MA/vocational high school teachers.
