Abstract

In April 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Wonogiri Regency of 3.44 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.51.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 8.90 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.58 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.31 percent; the health group by 2.27 percent; the transportation group by 0.70 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.79 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.06 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 3.83 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.27 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group fell by 0.57 percent. Specifically for the education group, there was no significant change in the index.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Wonogiri Regency in April 2024 was 0.13 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.41 percent.
