Abstract

In February 2025, there was a year-on-year (y-on-y) deflation in Wonogiri Regency of 0.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.12.

The y-on-y deflation occurred due to a decrease in prices indicated by a decrease in the expenditure group index, namely: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 16.36 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group fell by 1.26 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced an increase in the index were: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.11 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.29 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.17 percent; the health group by 3.47 percent; the transportation group by 0.82 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.73 percent; the education group by 2.34 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.93 percent; and personal care and other services group by 5.01 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Wonogiri Regency in February 2025 was 1.36 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 1.65 percent.
