Harvest Area and Rice Production in Wonogiri Regency 2023/2024

Integrated Food Crop Agricultural Statistics Data Collection with the Area Sample Framework (AFS) Method is included in the national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security in order to improve food statistics data. The main objective of this activity is to produce objective, scientific, and technologically advanced rice harvest area data, so that the collected rice production data becomes more accurate, faster, and more timely. The Report on Harvested Area and Rice Production in Wonogiri Regency 2023/2024 presents the results of the implementation of AFS data collection during 2023. In addition, this report also presents information on the potential for rice planting obtained from field observations. Based on the data, BPS Wonogiri noted that the harvested area and rice production in Wonogiri Regency in 2023 showed a similar pattern. The peak of the largest production occurred in March. The total harvested area in 2023 was 66.9 thousand hectares which produced 376.43 thousand tons of dry milled rice.
